DAY-1 (28/04/2020) WEEK-4 ENGLISH/MATH/EVS

Good Morning dear Parents and Students,
I hope that you all are safe. I request you all to thank God for this beautiful time he has given us in the lockdown to spend our time with our families and especially to have an opportunity to hear the nature sing like we heard it before; some decades ago. Thanking him for the technology that help us learn and work. 

Children let's start our day with a Lord's Prayer.

Understanding the Lord's Prayer Line By Line – Our Father 

Now let us do some exercise. Stand straight. Take both of your arms up and bring them gently down. Try to touch your toes. Again bring them up and gently bring them down. Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Do the AQAD Question a day and remember to submit it so that you can see the result the next day after your submission.

PERIOD - 1 ENGLISH LITERATURE.
LO - The children will be able to -
* think and write the answers of the given questions.

Instructions: Take out your English Literature Notebook. Write the date on the left hand side and begin your work beautifully leaving one finger space in between the words. Also listen to the Chapter - 1 explanation again which was sent yesterday.

Answer the following questions.

Q 1. What was Ma Liang good at?
Ans 1. Ma Liang was good at drawing.

Q 2. Who gave Ma Liang a brush?
Ans 2. An old man gave Ma Liang a brush.

Q 3. Why was Ma Liang surprised when he drew a hen with the brush?
Ans 3. When Ma Liang drew a hen with the brush, it turned into a real hen.

Q 4. Why did the king's soldiers take Ma Liang to the palace?
Ans 4. The king had heard about the magic brush. He was a greedy and wicked king. He asked his soldiers to bring Ma Liang to the palace.

Q 5.  Why was Ma Liang put in prison?
Ans 5. The king wanted Ma Liang to draw a tree covered with gold coins. Ma Liang said he would draw only for the poor people. The king was angry and put him in prison.

Q 6. What three things did Ma Liang draw to escape from the prison?
Ans 6. Ma Liang drew a key. The key turned into a real one. He opened the prison door and ran out. The king's soldiers chased him. Ma Liang quickly drew a horse, got onto it and rode away. He then drew a hole and the king's soldiers fell into the hole.
