Good Morning dear Parents and Students. Hope you all are healthy and safe. I believe you all are getting used to with a new way of learning. Lets begin our day with the Lord's Prayer.

Get ready for some P.T. exercises and energize yourself.

Stand straight with your hands on your waist; open your feet, a-foot apart. Start moving your waist round and round clockwise (5 times) and anti-clockwise          (5 times). Repeat 3 times.

What are compound words?
Compound words are made up of two or more smaller words that are combined to form a new word.
Example - Doll + house = Dollhouse; Note + book = notebook.

1. photo + copy = photocopy

2. home + work = homework

3. out + put = output

4. grand + mother = grandmother

5. sea + food = seafood

Define the following terms:-


(1) stomata - Plants breathe in with tiny pores present on leaves called stomata.
(2) stimulus - A stimulus is something that makes one act/react. Example - A rat is a stimulus to cat.
(3) gills - Gills are organs that allow fish to breathe under water.
(4) feelers - An animal organ such as an antenna that is used for testing things by touch/smell for searching for food/changes in their surroundings.

LO - The children will be able to write the given text in beautiful handwriting.

Animals have sense organs - eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin by which they sense their surroundings and react. Insects have two feelers/antennae to feel or smell changes in their surroundings.
